Assez beau temps. Nous faisons des courses chacun de notre côté. Jens va louer une voiture, il a repéré, sur Internet, le seul loueur ici à Ribadeo. Ils se donnent rendez-vous à la gare des bus. Jens y va, voit un gars qui boit un café à la cafétéria et demande où est la location de voiture. Le gars répond : « C’est moi ». Il fait les papiers à la cafétéria. Mais cela a l’air correct. Moi, pendant ce temps là, je vais m’acheter un pantalon. D’abord dans une vrai boutique, mais ce n’est pas du tout mon style (très serré, avec des trous …) ni ma taille. Je vais donc chez un Chinois et trouve ce que je veux. J’achète aussi une petite cocotte-minute. Lunch au bateau et très agréable promenade en vélo le long de la côte. Nous allons ouest donc c’est la côte où nous sommes passés hier en bateau. C’est beau, il fait du soleil et je trouve pleins de fleurs. Blog d’hier. Jens va chercher la voiture et fait des courses. Puis il étrenne la cocotte-minute en faisant un bœuf aux carottes délicieux.

Nous louons une voiture parce que nous allons demain à Porto, au Portugal, pour voir nos bons amis de Mexico, Krishna et Clara qui y sont en visite. Le blog prend donc une petite pause et reprendra jeudi. A bientôt.

Nice weather. We go shopping, but not together. Jens goes to rent a car, he has spotted, on the Internet, the only rental company here in Ribadeo. They should meet at the bus station. Jens goes there, sees a guy who drinks a coffee in the cafeteria and asks where is the car rental. The guy answers: "It's me." He makes the papers in the cafeteria, but it looks okay. Me, meanwhile, I'm going to buy pants. First in a real shop, but it is not at all my style (very tight, with holes ...) nor my size. So I go to a Chinese and find what I want. I also buy a small pressure cooker. Lunch on the boat and very pleasant bike ride along the coast. We go west so this is the coast we passed yesterday by boat. It is beautiful, it’s sunny and I find many flowers. Blog of yesterday. Jens fetches the car and goes shopping. Then he uses the pressure cooker by making a delicious beef with carrots.

We rent a car because we are going tomorrow to Porto, Portugal, to see our good friends from Mexico, Krishna and Clara who are visiting this city now. So the blog takes a little break and will resume on Thursday. See you soon.

Nous disons au revoir à Patrick et Brigitte et nous entre-souhaitons bon vent. Nous parlons aussi un peu avec un couple de Suédois (pas ceux à qui nous avions proposé les percebes, un autre couple). Ils ont l’air sympa, mais ce sera une brêve rencontre, ils vont vers le sud et nous vers le nord. Le bateau voisin, « Fisheye », français, part à 8 h. Nous partons à 9 h 45, par temps très calme. Nous pouvons lire et je fais même un sudoku. Nous passons le Cap Roncadoira avec un phare et un bon sentier de randonnée que l’on voit de la mer. A un moment, c’est moi qui regarde tout en faisant mon sudoku, je vois une ligne blanche sur la mer en face de nous, comme si une vague roule. Nous vérifions bien sur la carte, il n’y a pas de haut-fond, pas de rocher, rien. Il n’y a pas de raison que cela roule à cet endroit. Mais en fait, c’est de la mousse. Jens essaye de donner à manger à notre araignée. Il a attrapé une mouche dans un verre mais au dernier moment la mouche réussit à s’échapper. En début d’après-midi, le vent tourne et augmente, on l’a droit dans le nez, mais ça va, les vagues n’ont pas eu le temps de se former. La Ria de Ribadeo, où nous allons est large, mais on ne voit l’ouverture qu’au dernier moment. Tout est bien marqué et quand on voit le grand pont, on peut y aller mais il faut passer sous l’arche de droite, sinon il n’y a pas assez d’eau (à marée basse). La marina est juste après le pont et un marinero nous attend, Jens a téléphoné. Et c’est bien, parce que le courant fait pivoter Maja et ce n’est pas facile de la contrôler, il écarte le derrière de Maja du ponton. Le marinero prend une corde à l’avant, l’amarre rapidement, je lui lance vite la corde de derrière et il tire, ça va, il est 16 h10. Notre voisin est « Fisheye » qui est arrivé avant nous. Ankerdram, tour en ville. Ribadeo parait une grande ville, mais ne l’est pas, 10 000 habitants. Blog puis diner de bons spaghettis. Je vais ensuite sur Internet voir l’investiture de Macron, ce n’est pas tous les jours que nous avons un nouveau président.

We say goodbye to Patrick and Brigitte and we wish each other good wind. We also speak a little with a couple of Swedes (not those of the percebes, another couple). They look nice, but it will be a brief encounter, they go south and we head north. The neighboring boat, "Fisheye", French, leaves at 8 am. We leave at 9.45 am, in very calm weather. We can read and I even do a sudoku. We pass Cape Roncadoira with a lighthouse and a good hiking trail that we see from the sea. At one point, during my watch, I am looking while doing my sudoku, I see a white line on the sea in front of us , as if a wave is rolling. We check well on the map, there is no shoal, no rock, nothing. There is no reason for this to happen here. But in fact, it's foam. Jens tries to feed our spider. He caught a fly in a glass but at the last moment the fly manages to escape. In the early afternoon, the wind turns and increases, it is right in the nose, but it’s OK, the waves did not have time to form. The Ria de Ribadeo, where we are going, is wide, but we see the opening only at the last moment. Everything is well marked and when we see the big bridge, we can go but we have to go under the arch on the right, otherwise there is not enough water (at low tide). The marina is just after the bridge and a marinero awaits us, Jens phoned. And it's good, because the current turns Maja and she is not easy to control it, the current pushes Maja’s stern (the back) of the pontoon. The marinero takes a rope at the front, ties it fast, I quickly throw him the back rope and he pulls, it’s OK, it is 4:10 pm. Our neighbor is "Fisheye" who arrived before us. Ankerdram, city tour.
