01.03.2017 L'Estartit. Catalunya

Nous dormons très bien dans le bateau, mieux qu’à la maison. La nuit a été fraiche, 8 ⁰, mais quand le soleil sort, la température monte vite, 17 ⁰ à midi. Jens reprend sa bonne habitude de nous faire une salade de fruits pour le petit-déjeuner. Puis nous partons à pied pour faie l’ascension de la montagne de L’Estartit, la Piedra Maura, 130 m d’altitude. C’est d’abord une route puis un bon sentier qui monte raide. Nous retirons vite l’anorak et on a bien assez chaud juste en pull. Arrivés en haut, la vue est magnifique sur L’Estartit, petite ville très agréable au port bien protégé derrière le cap. Là-haut nous discutons avec deux jeunes femmes et coïncidence curieuse, la plus jeune a travaillé plusieurs étés comme guide pour des groupes espagnols… en Norvège. Elle connait Bergen, Oslo, les Iles Lofoten, le nord, les glaciers. Nous remarquons qu’elle a cueilli des sortes de tiges et nous lui demandons ce que c’est. Ce sont des asperges sauvages. Elle nous montre la plante et nous explique ce qu’il faut chercher, les jeunes pousses. Puis elles partent. En redescendant nous prenons un chemin plus large et nous cherchons des asperges et nous en trouvons, pas beaucoup mais assez pour faire une petite, toute petite entrée pour le lunch. Lunch au bateau, dehors mais avec une couverture sur les jambes, journal, El Pais pour moi et El Mundo pour Jens. Je vais sur les pontons chercher des « bleus » et en trouve plusieurs. Puis je me remets à envoyer le mail « Le blog recommence ». Jens m’aide et cette fois cela va mieux puis je fais le blog. Vers 20 h, nous voulons fêter notre reprise du voyage et allons au restaurant, bon, sympa et bien chauffé. On se met près du chauffage et on a presque trop chaud, mais cela parait bon, la nuit est fraiche. Nous partons demain.

We are sleeping very well in the boat, better than at home. The night was cool, 8 ⁰, but when the sun comes out, the temperature rises quickly, 17 ⁰ at noon. Jens resumes his good habit of making us a fruit salad for breakfast. Then we set off on foot to climb L'Estartit’s mountain, la Piedra Maura, 130 m above sea level. It is first a road then a good path that is quite steep. We quickly remove our jackets and we are warm enough just in sweater. Arrived at the top, the view is magnificent on L'Estartit, a very nice little town with a well protected harbor behind the cape. Up there we discuss with two young women and curious coincidence, the youngest one has worked several summers as a guide for Spanish tourists ... in Norway. She knows Bergen, Oslo, the Lofoten Islands, the north, the glaciers. We notice that she has picked some kinds of stems and we ask her what it is. These are wild asparagus. She shows us the plant and explains what to look for, the young shoots. Then they leave. As we go down we take a wider path and look for asparagus and find some, not much but enough to make a small, small appetizer for lunch. Lunch on the boat, outside but with a blanket on the legs, newspaper, El Pais for me and El Mundo for Jens. After lunch,I walk on the pontoons to look for "blues" and find several ones. Then I resume sending the mail "The blog starts again". Jens helps me and this time it gets better, then I write the blog. At around 8 pm, we want to celebrate our return to Spain and go to the restaurant, good, friendly and well heated. We are near the heating and we are almost too hot, but it seems good, the night is cool. We leave tomorrow.
