Je prends une douche et me lave les cheveux. Il n’y a pas
d’installations sanitaires mais une taverna indique « showers »
(douches). Ils ont installé deux douches et, moyennant finances, on peut aller
se doucher. Ici, c’est 3€, à Poros c’était 2. Le ravitaillement en eau pour les
bateaux peut être un problème, mais on a pris de l’eau à Poros, il y avait un
point d’eau. On a 100 l d’eau et cela nous dure une bonne semaine, on utilise
peu d’eau. Ici un camion livre de l’eau aux bateaux, qu’il faut payer. Puis
nous partons, Longway et Maja naviguant de conserve. Cela fait longtemps que je
voulais employer cette expression (souvenir du « Secret de la Licorne »
de Tintin) mais je n’étais pas sûre si c’était de concert ou de conserve. J’ai
vérifié, c’est bien de conserve. Nous allons à une ile, Atoko, à 6 MN (10 km) d'ici, une petite ile
inhabitée presque au milieu de la Mer Intérieure. La baie où nous pensons aller
s’appelle « One House Bay » (Baie d’Une Maison), c’est spectaculaire
mais de nombreux voiliers y sont déjà. Nous ancrons mais Longway préfère
continuer. Nous mettons l’annexe à l’eau et allons à terre. Une maison et une toute
petite chapelle semblent bien vides. Il y a quelques années la maison était
encore habitée, mais plus maintenant. Un puit, profond, a de l’eau au fond.
Nous grimpons un sentier raide et avons une belle vue sur la baie. Nous nous
baignons et rentrons sur Maja. Dans la soirée, les autres bateaux partent, nous
espérons avoir la baie pour nous, mais deux voiliers arrivent un peu plus tard.
Nous nous déplaçons parce que nous sommes un peu près d’eux et, en plus, Jens
est allé voir l’ancre en nageant et il a l’impression qu’elle n’est pas bien
accrochée. Des plaques claires, que l’on prendrait pour du sable, sont en fait
des plaques de sable tassé, dur. Donc nous nous re-ancrons un peu plus loin et
là elle tient bien. Soirée calme, étoilée et sous un beau clair de lune.

I take a shower and wash my hair. There is no
sanitation but a taverna shows "showers". They installed two showers
and, for a fee, we can take a shower. Here is € 3, in Poros it was 2. The
water supply for boats can be a problem, but we took water in Poros, there was water point. We have 100 liters of water and
it lasts a good week, we use very little water. Here a truck brings water to
the boats, for a fee. Then we leave, Longway and Maja sailing together. We go
to an island Atoko, 6 NM (10 km) from here, a small uninhabited island almost in the middle of the
Inland Sea. The bay where we plan to go is called "One House Bay",
it's spectacular but many boats are already there. We anchor, Longway prefers
to continue. We put the tender on the water and row ashore. A house and a tiny
chapel seem empty. A few years ago the house was still inhabited, but not
anymore. A well, deep has water at the bottom. We climb a steep pathl and have
a beautiful view of the bay. We swim and return on Maja. In the evening, the
other boats depart, we hope to have the bay just for us, but two yachts arrive
a little later. We move because we are a bit close to them and, in addition,
Jens went to see the anchor swimming and he feels that it is not securely
hooked. Clear plaques in the bottom, which look like sand, are actually patches
of sand packed hard. So we re-drop anchor a little further and there it sits
well. Quiet evening under a starry sky with a beautiful moonlight.
